Dennis Haefner started Ethical Energy after spending years of intense research on the best ways to build his own new home off the grid. With his background and degrees in science and engineering, he quickly realized that all aspects of the energy we produce for our homes, cars, businesses, and bodies are done in a harmful and illogical way.
And it wasn’t just the way we’re producing our energy that had him concerned. He also realized that many of the materials we are using in our homes, cars, and electronics is dangerous to our health and the environment.
After spending several years researching his home design and lifestyle Dennis had discovered dozens of incredible resources and experts in the field. Many of these experts are hard to find, and Dennis decided to start a website to help the typical homeowner and builder gain access to their expertise.
We believe in a simple philosophy here: if our energy was just produced ethically, many of our problems would be solved.
